Inflated system refers to a zero-sum DKP system which has a system total far over 0. It is called "inflated" because the relative DKP, and hence the buying power per point of absolute DKP, is less than what is reflected by the absolute DKP.

Examples

Inflated system

The following system is inflated.

A: 100 DKP
B: 100 DKP
C: -50 DKP

System total: 100 + 100 - 50 = 150 DKP

Slightly inflated system

The following system if only slightly inflated.

A: 100 DKP
B: -100 DKP
C: 5 DKP

System total: 100 - 100 + 5 = 5 DKP

The inflation is hardly noticible for A, B and C, so no action is really necessary.

Balanced system

The following system is not inflated.

A: 100 DKP
B: -50 DKP
C: -50 DKP

System total: 100 - 50 - 50 = 0 DKP

It is said to be a balanced system because the system total is exactly equal to zero.
